I'm an experienced Interior Stylist with a background in Interior Design. I'm passionate about creating beautiful and unique interiors. I love mixing old and new and encourage clients to re-use or re-purpose items in their homes, curating a considered mix of styles which is truly unique to them.
Interior Styling is all about enhancing the aesthetics of a room without altering the basic structure. I can help you with moodboards to illustrate my ideas, colour scheming, shopping lists, and advise you on the layout of your space. I also offer a home staging service to prepare your property for sale on the open market.
Costs depend upon the scale of a project but range from £200 for one room based on a free initial consultation and one day working on my ideas. I would then present you with my concept for the space including a shoppable moodboard so that you can then take my ideas forward and implement them yourself. If you would prefer me to oversee the project, further costs would be agreed at a fixed rate.
If you are looking for beautiful images to promote your business or products, I also offer a product styling service.
More often than not, when pulling a room or rooms together we have to work with at least some existing pieces. This is one of the most interesting parts of working on a scheme as the end result will be completely unique to the homeowner. Starting a scheme completely from scratch can result in your space lacking personality and looking like a show home. This moodboard is a good example of working with some of the client's personal treasures, whilst at the same time decorating three interconnecting ground floor rooms cohesively. This was a really important factor to consider as all three rooms were at least partially visible from the entrance doorway. There needed to be a visual flow in the colour palette and the style of decorating.
We had to work with a wallpaper which the client really wanted to use, alongside a collection of blue and white china, a gallery wall of black and white photos, a blue occasional chair and some grey sofas. Quite a challenge! Fortunately the blue and rust tones complement each other perfectly and the finished scheme will see the colour combinations pulled right through to the furthest room with the lovely feature archway between two of the rooms picked out in almost black to draw the eye down to the gallery wall beyond.
